Back in November of this year I had the pleasure of shooting one of the most beautiful couples, Alex and Dylan. Their ceremony and reception both took place at Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery in Harrow, Ontario. We’d been waiting a few years for this wedding to happen so it’s safe to say that EVERYONE was so excited for it to happen.
We started off in the bridal suite. Any couple who has a wedding at Sprucewood Shores gets access to the cutest bridal suite complete with a white brick wall, full length mirror and a green velvet sofa.
Many mimosas later, the girls are dressed and Alex is getting ready for the first look. I left her in the room as Dylan arrived so that I could go set him up for their first look. Their had their first look on a long walkway leading to the beach behind Sprucewood. I was private, romantic, and really windy but we made the most out of it!
Inside Sprucewood Shores, the guests were anxiously waiting for the ceremony to start. Family, friends, officiant, all waiting to see the beautiful bride. As the ceremony started, the tears were already flowing. Two sisters in the bridal party and lost of friends makes for an emotional bridesmaids line!
As they shared their own vows you can bet that everyone was laughing at the jokes that were shared and our hearts were full from hearing them pledge their hearts and lives to each other. One kiss later and we were on our way to taking bridal party photos while the guests enjoyed their cocktail hour in the lobby.
Obviously we had to make our way to the beach. We took a mixture of editorial and fun photos, took advantage of a log on the beach and the sunset over the lake. Once we made our way back to Sprucewood Shores, the bride and groom had their first look with the reception hall. The ceremony hall was transformed into the reception hall, complete with tables, head table, speech stand, and desserts!
The night was fun, the food was incredible and the speeches were hilarious! They danced the night away in their red heart sunglasses and converse sneakers. My time came to an end but their night had just begun. Congratulations mom and dad!
XOXO,
Andreia Danielle
